Over the last couple months I have embarked on an ambitious project to challenge myself to composer six new solo works for performers from across the world of about 10 minutes each between October 2020 to May 2021 for instruments ranging from double bass to flute with glissando head joint. There will be works for cello, percussion, mezzosoprano and accordion. From January 2021, we will premiere the works in monthly digital events which will also give me the opportunity to interact with you – the audience!

So far I have been writing for double bass and cello and most recently I have been working on a piece for accordion for Kamila Olas.

It has been a fascinating process so far getting to know each of these instruments and there unique voices and I look forward to sharing this process with you in more detail soon!
